Erlab fume hood Status Active Superusers Ivan Penskiy (ipenskiy[at]umd[dot]edu) Overview The ducted fume hood is authorized by UMD's Department of Environmental Safety only for work with solvents. Fume hood users must go through additional training to store, use, and discard chemicals. Location E.A. Fernandez IDEA Factory building 228, Room 3119b. Reservation No reservation is required for using the fume hood. Instead, it is available on a first-come first-serve basis to all qualified users. Please be considerate of others in your use of space inside the fume hood for extended periods of time though. Important reminders Only for work with solvents. Users must supply their own chemicals.
